new theme

Let me know if this new theme is easier to view and find info. I like the other but find the type too faint, even if enlarged by my browser.

Had to return to Regulus; the other theme wouldn’t allow easy editing of individual posts that I saw needed correcting. However, I still get to use the image.

No, your aren’t seeing things (well, yes you are but it is deliberate). Back to try-out theme. There are still things that are awkward for the poster and even for the reader, especially as this isn’t a “diary” type of web log. But I won’t mess with the presentation again for a day or two. Fortunately, I’m not the only one who would like to see the other theme improve for readibility. Please let me know what is needed by the reader / peruser.

I’ll try to find a snapshot of the other theme. Or, stop back in a couple of days to check on the other one.

Rhea is correct; doesn’t help to compare two things when one isn’t visible. Friends have lent me their playaround site for viewing, Periodic Table Manners, click on name to open a new tab, (ignore the content, E-lderMail is a physicist and collaborates with an anthropologist so the combination can be “out of the box”). The theme over there is Regulus with the same header image.

PS, the header image is of a friend’s house in Taos (another one off her rocker)

Check out the thread, you can now edit both posts and pages from the post/page in question. You must click on the post/page title though, but it works

Yes, the WP top bar dashboard now shows up.

I would still prefer a tweaked Regulus theme to make it more legible (darker font; hotlinks more distinctive).

    Thanks.

I am new to your site, so I don’t know what your look was before, but I think the image on top is beautiful and the type is nice and easy to read.

Theme 3 doesn’t allow for a personalized header, yet. I find it easier to locate stuff on the edges (there, left and right). Also to distinguish hyperlinks but I will keep the convention of also bulleting them whenever possible as not everyone can distinguish green against the grey.

Current theme is Cutline which has potential.
