Employers in the UK can sack anyone once they reach 65 years of age, no questions asked/reasons given. So we’ve put together this tongue-in-cheek image as part of our online campaign – Churchill was 65 when he became prime minister in 1940, Mandela 75 when he received the Nobel prize.
